We use a phrase around here, you don't have to, you get to.
And here at Alfred University you get to continue your athletic career while getting a first class education.
And while having a balance between academics and athletics that I don't think exists at any other level in the NCAA.
We competed the Division Three level here at Alfred University.
And I think personally, having worked at both the division one and division three levels, I think the Division Three level has so much to offer to students.
Division Three is amazing because it provides you an opportunity, especially here at Alfred University to get a great quality education while performing and playing at a very high level.
So we're a member of the Empire Eight Conference, that's our that's our home conference, which is more or less situated primarily here in even the upstate New York area.
We are a lot of the matches games and things like that are within a fairly confined areas, so pretty easy for folks to travel to.
We feel really good about the facilities here at Alfred University.
We think our varsity weight room is probably one of the premier weight rooms in division three, from both the size and modern equipment standpoint.
And then we have our equestrian program, which is part of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, which is the premier equestrian teams in the country.
And our football, soccer, lacrosse stadium is I think one of the most unique stadiums in the country.
The game day.
It's amazing.
You're in the Magic Valley of Alfred, and you know during warm ups you look up and there's not many people there and you might think today might be a quiet day and then captains are walking out for coin toss and turn around like when all these people get here, you know?
Seeing how people show out for the university, really shows you that the small tight knit place of the fan base here is amazing.
